Who are we?
A group of volunteers supported by professional artists and educators originally based in Alexandria, Egypt. We work with homeless children, mainly those who reside in specialized reception centres, such as Caritas or others.

What is our goal?
Reconcile these children with themselves and with society through art and creativity, in particular: theatre, cinema as well as various other social and educational activities.
We also have other dreams to help these children once they reach adulthood, to face the demands of life and gain their independence.
What is our journey?
Our group has been in operation for more than 10 years and has served and helped to develop hundreds of children in difficulty, through dozens of artistic projects: plays, creations of short films, choir, puppets, shadow puppets, painting, photography, plastic arts, dance and others.
This project reflects the vision of the rhythm and singing workshop organized by "Art et Vie" through interaction with children exposed to dangers who reside in foster homes and are separated from their families. These children are deprived of their identity and do not have birth certificates. The “Energy of Hope” project offers children an opportunity to express themselves, share their stories and experiences. “Art and Life” is a sustainable program which constitutes the only artistic activity practiced by these children. It offers numerous artistic, cultural and educational activities throughout the year, allowing them to build secure relationships with the work team (trainers, facilitators and volunteers).

How can you help us?
All our projects with children are subsidised exclusively by donations, with the help and through groups or associations.
The friends of Father Boulad as well as the Jesuit fathers contribute to the success of these workshops for more fulfilled children.
